Who Am I?

My name is Vicky Sun, a 23 year-old Chinese girl living in the city that never sleeps, A.K.A. New York.

I moved to the United States when I was 11 years old, wasn't a fan of American food at all, all I ever ate was Chinese food,(note: not Chinese take-out, actual homemade Chinese Food.) I rarely need to eat out besides when I'm in school, that's why I usually skip lunch, until I started to bring my own lunch to school.

Although I wasn't the best cook in the world at the age of 11, I was responsible for most of the disasters and miracles happening in the kitchen. (Yes, I am very proud of that ^^ )

A few years went by, I left home to go upstate for college, then it hit me one day "OMG! WHAT DO I EAT?!?!?!" So I decided to buy a little portable stove (totally illegal in dorms ><) and bring my own pots, pans and spices to school so I can prepare my own food.

That's also when I met Mr. Man, the guy who introduced me to meat sauce, clam chowder, mashed potatoes, Alfredo sauce etc. etc. (I mean, don't get me wrong, I've heard of them before I met him, but I never wanted to try them). After trying it a few times, WHAT DO YOU KNOW! it's actually not that bad!!! QUITE GOOD ACTUALLY!

Next thing you know, I started making all kinds of food with my tiny stove in my dorm room.

Where did EasyPeasy 321 come from?

When I graduated College, a bunch of things happened (if you are interested in the details you can find them here) and I started this blog, to show everyone that, COOKING REALLY CAN BE EASY PEASY!! Something I've always wanted to, but never had the courage to do!!
All meals can be prepared and ready in 3 ... 2 .. 1!
