SKIN INC Custom Blend Serum Initial Review

Hello Everyone!!
Welcome to EasyPeasy 321!

It's been a long time, I know.
There are so much that I need to update you guys on, but let's start with something totally new that I just purchased literally yesterday, THE SKIN INC CUSTOM BLEND SERUM!🎊

I've read a lot of reviews and saw a lot of YouTubers talk about the custom blend serum, but have always been hesitant to actually try it myself because of the price (It was $97.99 including tax). So I wanted to see and try it in person.

So I asked one of the ladies that was working in the section some questions I had such as: Is this product suitable for sensitive skin type? How do I apply it on? How much do I need each time? Which three serums will be the best for my skin? and etc.
After a 10-20 minutes consulting, I decided to give it a try, and picked up the Vitamin A, Licorice and Vitamin C. And here are the reasons why:
  1. These products are made in Japan! I love Japanese cosmetic/skincare products!
  2. They DO NOT contain Parabens
  3. They are fragrance free
  4. Targeting three of my main skin concerns in one bottle, why not!!
  5. Two drops each use, twice a day, simple enough right?

Here is a more detail description of the individual serums:
  • Vitamin A: Targets dullness and signs of tiredness around the eye area. It supports natural collagen production, blood flow and circulation of the skin. (This is perfect for my panda eye!!!! )
  • Licorice Serum: Calms and soothes irritated skin. I have very sensitive skin and one of my biggest concern for my skin has always been the blemishes that I have around my cheeks. This serum is an antioxidant-rich serum that will help with redness, uneven skintone and the dryness of the skin. (SPOT ON!)
  • Vitamin C: This serum also tackles one other main skin concerns I have: PORES! This serum helps with minimizing the appearance of pores and balance sebum production, which would be perfect for those with oiliness, pores or even dryness issues. (PORE PORE GO AWAY!!)

As soon as I got home, I couldn't wait to start mixing them in the bigger bottle!
Here are some of my thoughts and tips for mixing the serums.

The first one I opened was the Vitamin A, I started by using the dropper that the bottle came with. NOT A GOOD IDEA!! I am all about getting every bit of the product onto my face so noting is wasted, but so many beads and the serum were trapped inside the dropper!! > < No matter how many times I press to try to get them out, they will not come out!! The pain I feel when i see all the goodness, but can't use them 😖 And the dropper was a little messy for me liking because the opening of the bottle is relatively small, so a lot of the serum on the dropper will drip on the opening.

So I decided to ditch the dropper and just pour, I'm usually good at pouring things into another container and not make a mess, but if you are not, I would just stick to the dropper, (not to say it would be less messy). Pouring was much faster, easier, However, the amount of serum that is left inside the container after I pour and tab and pour and tab is still too much!! 😢

After the third bottle, I decided to just leave the smaller bottles upside down, so hopefully by tonight, all the goodness will all come down and i can just use them that way instead of having them go to waste.

Summary: The packaging might need some work, since so much of the serum are not coming out. Or maybe someone else has a better idea on how to transfer them into one bottle, please let me know!! 😇

This is the end result of 3 full bottles after tabs after tabs. It actually does not fill up the big bottle, I would say it will prob take at least half more small bottle in order to fill this all the way up. I had to shake the bottle to ensure that everything was mixed in well and evenly distributed.

I then tried it after I showered and toned my face, 2 drops on the tips of the hand, then I dabbed it around my face and massaged it in. It absorbed very quickly, and my skin did not feel sticky or wet. it felt refreshed and well nourished! I will also recommend shaking it before ever use to ensure you get all three serums in each and every drop. 💆

I hope you guys enjoyed spending the time with me!!!
Let me know if you would want follow up reviews to keep you guys updated on what I think of the Skin Inc Custom Blend Serum!!! 💋

First day of March, still so much snow!

Hello everyone!!
Welcome to EasyPeasy 321!

Happy March 1st, it's snowing so hard outside right now in New York City, this year, we've had a lot of snow! Today, I just want to share with you some interesting things for the past week!! (^@@^)

So February 2015, had 4 Sundays, 4 Mondays, 4 Tuesdays, 4 Wednesdays, 4 Thursdays, 4 Fridays, and 4 Saturdays, it was a perfect square on the calendar!! (And I got the cutest calendar ever, when I went to visit my friend in New Jersey)
According to an post I read recently, it is extremely rare for this to happen, but then again, I always have this thought when people say things like 2012.12.12 will never happen again until 2112.12.12, but 2015. 03. 01 will never happen again... EVER! (Just a random thought)

PUSHEEN Calendar!! My thoughts exactly; Wake me up in spring please!

Last week Sunday, for brunch, I made some kimcheese burger for dinner. I had some ground beef in the fridge, figured I would make some burgers, when I started seasoning the meat, only to find I had no lettuce no tomatoes and no burger buns! BUT ... I HAD KIMCHI!!
So I decided to experiment a little, with my KIMCHEESE BURGER SANDWITCH! OMG IT WAS SOOOO GOOD!!
Instead of plain mayo, I added some hot sauce to get spicy mayo, it was soooo good!!!

yummmm!! homemade beef patty, kimchi, cheese and toast, who woulda thought it was going to be this good??

"Hey, how was Paint Nite?"

Hello everyone, welcome to EasyPeasy 321~~

I'm sure a lot of you have heard of Paint Nite, but still wondering if it's worth going, and how is it run etc, etc. Today, I'm going to share with you my Paint Nite experience!

First of all, I would like to start by saying, we had a lot of fun!! (^____^)
If you don't already know, Paint Nite is an event where anyone, with or without any painting experience can go, have some drinks and paint like a pro!!
:: NOTE: You must be 21+ to participate at their events!

Me, Mr.Man and a friend of ours were browsing through Livingsocial and Groupon to see if there were anything that was interesting for us to try! And we came across Paint Nite, so we decided, hey, why not? This was going to be our first time painting EVER!

After getting the deal, we browsed through the Paint Nite website to find the painting that we wanted to do. On the website, they have a great feature for you to filter either by the date, venue or the painting that you like! They also give you a star rating for the painting to show you exactly how difficult it is going to be.

One day before the event, I received an e-mail saying the venue of the event had been changed, and that it had to be help somewhere else, which I didn't care much about.

On the day of the event, it was pouring, (not a good thing) we arrived at the venue, honestly, it's not the best place ever, but whatever, I was there to be creative, so that didn't bother me much! The instructor was a funny lady who patiently guided us through the whole process, You literally get a STEP BY STEP tutorial on how to paint the painting that you picked. The instructor was very helpful and encouraging.

The whole painting process took around 2 hours, and by the time we were done, I was sooo amazed by what I had done!! It was sooooooo good!!! *tears of joy*

Doesn't this look nice???

When we were done, it was still pouring outside, how can we bring the painting home?!?!?!?! It is going to wash off! So I held my painting carefully in the rain, hoping that it does not wash off, when I got home, the corners were a little wet, and some parts had water running down, *sad*

So, overall, I would say that it is definitely a fun experience.
I would recommend this for a Girls Night Out, Birthday Party, Date or family bonding.

Let me know if you guys are going to give it a try!!

Thank you so much for tuning in, 'till next time!
Have Fun & Be Inspired! \(^▽^)/

My Sunday Fried Rice!

Hello everyone!
Welcome to Easy Peasy 321~~

How has your week been??
How was your first month of 2015??
I can't believe it's already February, where did January go?

Today, I did my usual Sunday routine: had some brunch and grocery shopping.
When I came back from grocery shopping, I was too tired to prepare anything too crazy, so I just took whatever that was available for me in the fridge and make my Sunday Fried Rice, that looks like this ...
*YUM YUM!!*
This fried rice my friend, took me less than 10 minutes!!
I had some left over rice in the fridge, some left over eggs with tomatoes (told you it was one of my favorite dishes ever), some spam.

Chop up some spam,.
Pour away the extra sauce from the eggs with tomatoes.
Heat up the pan.
Add spam and eggs with tomatoes, stirred around for 2-5 minutes.
Add in my rice, stirred around for 5 minutes.
Green onion on top!

Your fried rice is ready to be served!

How easy was that??
That's why I always try to cook some extra rice, just in case I get lazy and want to just make fried rice for lunch or dinner.
You can pretty much add anything in your fried rice that you like, have fun with it!!

Tell me what did you add in your Sunday Fried Rice!!

Thank you so much for tuning in, 'till next time!

What happened to EasyPeasy 321??

Hello everyone,
Welcome to Easy Peasy 321!

I miss you so much!!!
It's been a really really long time since I have last posted something!
I was too busy being a turtle, hiding from the fact that I might not be able to post up easy peasy recipes for you, and I felt like if I was not sharing easy peasy recipes with you, I have disappointed and failed you!

I LOVE making posts and videos for you guys, it was one of the most rewarding feelings ever! No words can express the kind of feelings when I know people are checking out my recipes and actually liking and sharing them!
I'm not going to lie, that the amount of work that is required from me and Mr.Man to film, edit and post can sometimes be overwhelming due to the schedule conflicts, technology limitations and etc. etc... I don't like to admit it, but, LIFE CAN REALLY GET IN THE WAY.

No one ever told me this, but being in the mid 20's ... sucks!
There are too much things you have to be worrying about, work, money, life, family ... and MORE!!
This is when you are supposed to be finding out WHO YOU REALLY ARE, WHAT YOU REALLY WANT TO DO IN LIFE! C'mon now, cut us some slack, we have already got so much on our plates, being a grown up really sucks sometimes. It has its perks, but for the most part, it is just really difficult.

Anyway, I will be sharing more of my thoughts with you guys in other posts, point is, I was being a turtle by thinking that I should not be sharing anything else but my beloved easy peasy recipes with you!! WHICH I HAVE NOW COME TO REALIZE ... IS WRONG!!
I am going to keep this blog alive. I want to share my life with you, even if it's not easy peasy recipes all the time, I want to be part of your lives! <3

One day, I want to be able to write this blog like a professional blogger!

Before then, please join me on a journey in searching of happiness (with the occasional treats of yummy recipes) !

Once again, I want to thank you all for your supports!!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

AND ... as always, thank you so much for tuning in!
'till next time!!
Have fun & be inspired\(^▽^)/
