Coca-Cola Chicken Wings 可樂雞翅 (Chinese Food 321)

Hello everyone!
Welcome to Easy Peasy!!!

Today we will be making an infamous Chinese chicken dish together!!
It's called Coca-Cola Chicken Wings (可樂雞翅).

It only requires a few ingredients!
This is a very delicious dish that is super easy to make.
I'm sure you, your family and friends will love it! (And they will have no idea it was that easy ^_< )

YES, THIS IS WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE WHEN IT'S DONE!!
It's sooo amazing!! *DROOOOOLS*

I'M SOOOO READYYY!!!
Let's get started!! (~ ^ 0 ^ ~)

For this recipe, you will need::

Coca-Cola - 1 CUP! NOT THE WHOLE BOTTLE!!
  Soy Sauce - 4 Tablespoons
Chicken Wings - 2-3 pounds
Long Green Onion
Ginger - A few slices
Salt and Pepper - 1 teaspoons of each

Cut off the head of the long green onion. The onion will take away the bad smell from the chicken and add amazing aroma to your food!

Make slanted and longer cuts, this way it looks prettier and it's easier to spot for people who does not like onions.

Wash your ginger before you cut it, because I will not be peeling the ginger.
Do the same with your gingers.
Did you know that a lot of Chinese people boils gingers in coke as a remedy for cold?

I only used half of the hot pepper, you can use the whole thing if you want it to be more spicy.
Make an insertion in the middle.
Take away the seeds.
Cut it the same way as the green onions and the ginger.

Turn your fire up to HIGH and preheat the non-stick stir-fry pan (Take about 1-2 minutes)
Add a little bit of oil when the pan becomes hot.

Add the White and green-ish white part of the long green onion and ginger into the heated oil and stir around for half a minute.
Add in the hot pepper and stir around for another minute or until the aroma starts coming out.

Put in the Chicken wings and let it sit for 2 minutes on each side.

After cooking both sides for 2 minutes, add soy sauce, salt and pepper. Stir to mix.

Then add in 1 cup of Coke the stir, the close the lid

Right after you add the Coke, turn your heat down to medium high (As shown) to prevent the sugar from the Coke from caramelizing and burning too fast.
Then cook for 15 minutes.

Stirring ever 3 minutes to make sure everything is evening coated with the sauce.

When you see the color of the sauce becomes brown and the sauce starts thickening, turn the heat down to low. Continue to stir and cook for another 3-5 minutes!
